My name is Zach Padovan, I am a criminology and criminal justice, and i am in my second year at The Ohio State University. I have always wanted to attend this university so becoming a Buckeye was in a way a dream come true for me.Something that is unique about me is that i am 25% Italian. I get my Italian heritage from my dads side of the family and every Sunday the whole family gets together and we all have a big family dinner together which my aunt Connie prepares and she is an amazing cook.

I would have to say that my favorite Buckeye would have to be Eddie George. This person is so influential to me because not only did he play for the best university in the country, which of course is Ohio State, but he had such great success as an athlete. His success was not just on the football field but he was and continues to be a great member of society. It seems now a days it is very difficult for some reason for student athletes to keep their heads on straight when it comes to life off the field. A lot of young kids make bad decisions that can potentially cost them their careers in sports. Eddie George was able to do well on the field and receive all of this attention but \at the same time kept good morals and did his best in every aspect of his life. It is also inspiring that he is so involved with the university still, by having his own restaurant on campus and doing charity work for the university. To me Eddie George is someone the young athletes of today need to look up to. and another cool thing about him is that his birthday is on the
