My Declaration of Independance - Chris Evans

Independance, usually means one, but in my case it means two.
For most people being born is a journey traveled alone;
I had someone along for the ride.
Birthdays, bedrooms, classes, and friends have always been shared with my twin.
Like yin and yang we've always been paired together.
A chant that has followed me wherever I go,
Chris and Nicole; Chris and Nicole.


College is an adventure that liberates kids from their family.
But for me it's something that's bittersweet.
I left behind a part of who I was.
A shadow that's always been just a step to the side.
Without my companion, my whole image has changed.
The once amazing dynamic duo,
Has now become a solo act.
