Chad's Ad Analysis

This ad serves to draw the attention of little children and parents of little children. It’s a persuasive ad in the sense that it makes me people think they will feel good when they buy it. Do you want a tasty, well-made meal? Then Chef Boyardee is the food for you.

I think that this Ad uses its slogan very well. “Chef makes meals for kings. Or a unicorn, maybe a Ninja. Whatever your kid’s pretending to be at the moment.” It entices the person reading the ad to want to buy this meal for their kids because it makes it seem like all kids will enjoy it.

This ad also uses the layout very well. They have a big picture of Chef Boyardee. This gives the reader a sense that this is who is making all the meals and makes them feel more comfortable. They also show an appetizing picture of the ravioli which draws on peoples hunger.

I think that this ad is lying to the public because it says how a real chef makes that food, Chef Boyardee. When really these meals are just mass produced and not actually made by this man.
