Exploration 9 "thumb wrestling"

In this video found on Ted Talks. Jane McGonigal explains how easy it is to start a social interaction without any awkwardness. Jane says by simply having a host to get everyone to play a game of thumb wrestling to break the ice in social communication. The reasons this game is a good icebreaker Jane says is because of the emotions it brings to people such as:

- excitement
- joy
 - relief
- love
- suprise
- creativity and more

If you really think about it, as dumb as it sounds, a simple game like this does make it easier to interact. Most people have a hard time starting a conversation with someone they don't know, so instead of going up and shaking someones hand trying to have a conversation, why not do something like thumb wrestling that will change everyones vibe at a gathering to start a conversation and meet new people?
